Antimicrobial Activity of Fomitopsis Officinalis (Vill.) Bondartsev & Singer in Pure Culture

Background. According to the World Health Organization antibiotic resistance is among top ten threats human health, food safety and development. Today has reached alarmingly high levels all over world. Meanwhile, increase in synthetic drugs' production led pathogenic mycobiota's rapid adaptation created chemicals, which have a narrow focus of application. That why modern biotechnology pharmacology much attention paid natural producers biologically active compounds, particular – xylotrophic fungi. It been experimentally proven that macromycete Fomitopsis officinalis or tinder fungus can be considered promising producer pharmacological substances with broad spectrum action. Studies metabolites, contained mycelial mass, culture fluid medicinal F. officinalis, determination their biological action remain relevant. Objective. The objective was determine antimicrobial activity mass different strains from mushrooms collection (IBK Mushroom Culture Collection M.G. Kholodny Institute Botany, NAS Ukraine) against gram-negative gram-positive bacteria species. Methods. An vitro study ethyl acetate extracts aqueous-ethyl for IBK-5004, IBK-2497, IBK-2498 Staphylococcus aureus (B-918), Bacillus subtilis (В-901) Escherichia coli (B-906), (B-900), Klebsiella pneumoniae (M-123) by disc-diffusion method conducted. Results. High established after 21st day cultivation, while on 28th zone growth retardation maximal (15–25 mm). highest indices were recorded IBK-5004 (20–25 mm) (20–24 strains. Antimicrobial manifested days cultivation. observed strain diameter 18 mm Mycelial mass's showed moderate 14th cultivation (7-8 mm); (12–22 most IBK-2498. No test organisms detected following studied strains: coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, subtilis. Conclusions.
